Service Description

AT&T provides AT&T® FastAccess® DSL pursuant to the AT&T Internet Service Service Agreement. A copy of the Service Agreement may be viewed on your Registration CD. AT&T will use automated telephone recordings and e-mails to communicate important FastAccess DSL service-related information.

A DSL modem is required for AT&T FastAccess Internet Service.

Monthly charges- FastAccess DSL Customers
AT&T FastAccess DSL Lite is $19.95 month for unlimited monthly access.
AT&T FastAccess DSL Ultra is $32.95 per month for unlimited monthly access.

AT&T FastAccess DSL Xtreme is $37.95 per month for unlimited monthly access.

AT&T FastAccess DSL Xtreme 6.0: $42.95 per month (as of December 9, 2006)

Certain promotions offered by AT&T may reduce the standard monthly charge. Monthly charges are subject to change. Residential customers only. Existing customers: rates available upon request.

This amount includes the use of all regular AT&T Internet Service features and support. Monthly charges are subject to change.
Your regular monthly telephone service charges are not included in these amounts. Charges do not include any additional cost features or premium services (such as extra costs for excess personal Web space, additional e-mail boxes and roaming), or telephone charges for calls from outside the AT&T Internet Service areas. You will remain liable for any such additional charges incurred through your use of the service.

Installation
Most customers will be able to self-install the equipment necessary for AT&T FastAccess Internet Service. If you are a modem customer and at the time you order the service, an installation visit by AT&T authorized technicians is deemed necessary by AT&T or requested by you, you will be charged a separate one-time installation fee of $99.95. If you are unsuccessful in self-installing the equipment necessary for AT&T FastAccess Internet Service and request installation assistance at your premises, you may be charged a one-time installation fee of $99.95. These installation fees may include any of the following items of equipment if required: phone line splitter and a reasonable amount of inside wiring and cabling materials as may be necessary to install the service at your location. The amount of these installation fees is not dependent on whether or how much equipment or materials are required (within AT&T's standard installation parameters).

Modem Support
For modem customers, AT&T will provide FastAccess Service technical support only for the computer for which the modem is installed.

Back up Internet Dial Account
AT&T FastAccess DSL Service includes access to a back-up AT&T Internet Service dial account. This account is intended to be used while you are traveling or in the event that FastAccess Service is temporarily interrupted. The back-up dial account provides for 20 hours of usage per month at no additional cost to you. (You will, however, be responsible for any long distance or roaming charges that may be incurred for all back-up dial usage.) In the event you use your back-up dial account for more than 20 hours in any month, you agree to pay AT&T two dollars for the first hour or fraction thereof in excess of 20 hours and one dollar per hour for each additional hour or fraction thereof in excess of 21 hours. Billing for usage over 20 hours will not exceed $19.95. The total charge for the back-up dial account will not exceed $19.95 per month.

Roaming Services and Charges
When traveling outside of your AT&T Internet Service dialing area, 888- number roaming service is available for a surcharge of $0.083 per minute or a fraction thereof. In addition, GSP local access is available in some areas to allow you to dial a local number ("POP") to reach your AT&T Internet Service for a surcharge of 5¢ per minute or fraction thereof. Calls are billed in one minute increments rounded up to the nearest minute. Roaming charges are in addition to your regular AT&T Internet Service charges and will appear on your monthly bill. If you use GSP local access, you will see a separate charge from the GSP for its portion of the roaming surcharge. Upon return to your local dial-in area, be sure to change the dialer configuration to your local number to avoid additional roaming charges.

Billing
Unless otherwise specified in any applicable promotion, upon registration or selection of the AT&T FastAccess Internet Service pricing plan, you will be billed in full for the applicable installation and service activation charges, a prorated amount for your first partial month of service plus one full month in advance.

No Money Back Guarantee
AT&T does not offer a money back guarantee for FastAccess Internet Service.

AT&T FastAccess Equipment – Payment Terms
If you elect to purchase a modem from AT&T, the modem will be billed to your AT&T telephone bill in ten interest-free installments of just $7.50 per month for a total of $75.00.  Shipping and handling is free.  The Annual Percentage Rate (APR) is 0%. 
Equipment credit will be applied for DSL modems returned within 30 days of equipment ship date (or professional installation date).  However, no equipment credits will be applied for cancellations of FastAccess service.  Also no credit will be given for DSL modems returned after 30 days of equipment ship date (or professional installation date). 
In the event you should decide to cancel your FastAccess DSL service, any remaining unpaid equipment balance will be due and payable on your following month’s bill.

FastAccess DSL Equipment Return Policy
If you decide within thirty (30) days of the Ship Date or Installation Date that you want to return the modem for any reason, you may return it and you will not be charged for the modem, but (1) you must notify AT&T within thirty (30) days of the Ship Date/Professional Installation Date; (2) you must return the modem/gateway in accordance with AT&T equipment return procedures set forth below and AT&T must receive the modem in good working order with all original parts, accessories, disks, instruction manuals and related documentation intact within thirty (30) days after your notification to AT&T.
